Camross must wait another week to discover the identity of their Laois SHC final opponents after yesterday's draw between Abbeyleix and Rathdowney-Errill.
While the holders accounted for Clough-Ballacolla 1-17 to 0-17 in the O'Moore Park semi-final double-header, the Abbeyleix v Rathdowney-Errill ended all-square, 2-14 to 1-17. The replay has been fixed for next Sunday.
Rathdowney-Errill entered the tie as strong favourites, but a first goal from Eoghan Fennelly ensured Abbeyleix of parity at the break, 1-8 to 0-11.
A Ross King goal put Rathdowney five points clear on the restart, but St. Lazarian's hit back to take the lead before Darren King's last-minute point earned Rathdowney another bite at the cherry.
Meanwhile, a Ciaran Collier goal before half-time before proved decisive as Camross withstood a late fightback by Clough-Ballacolla to win by three points.
