Team news: Brennan hands trio Laois debuts

New Laois hurling manager Eddie Brennan will hand first competitive starts to Andrew Mortimer, Mark Dowling and Aaron Bergin in tomorrow's Walsh Cup opener against Offaly in Birr.

Camross duo Mortimer and Dowling have been named at corner back and corner forward respectively, while Bergin - who was part of the Portlaoise side that lost last Saturday's Leinster club IHC final to Brennan's Graigue-Ballycallan - starts at top of the left.

There are also recalls for Aaron Dunphy and Patrick Keating in the half forward line.
