Laois' appeal against the decision to strip them of home advantage for one of their games in Division 3 of the Allianz League next year has been rejected.

Midlands 103 reports that the Central Hearings Commitee has upheld the decision to punish the O'Moore County after they were found to have breached GAA rules by holding a training camp in Kerry last April, which was designated as a 'club only' month.

The Armagh footballers and Wexford hurlers were also sanctioned after they both travelled to Portugal for training camps, as were the Waterford hurlers who held a similar camp in Ireland.

It means that Laois will have only two home games in Division 3, which they have been promoted to after winning Division 4 earlier this year.
