Holders St Kieran's booked their place in this year's Leinster PP SH A semi-finals when edging city rivals Kilkenny CBS by 0-16 to 0-12 after extra-time this afternoon.

Eoin Cody, a nephew of Cats legend Henry Shefflin, played an instrumental role for Kieran's, registering eight points, including a 78th minute effort from a free to ensure victory for last year's beaten All-Ireland finalists.

Deadlocked at 0-9 each, Kieran's ended normal-time with 14-men but restored to their full compliment of players for the additional twenty minutes at Dunmore Park.

Elsewhere, in the winners section, at Netwatch Cullen Park, Dublin North defeated Borris VS on a 1-13 to 0-12 scoreline with Michael Murphy netting the games only goal.

Dublin North join St Kieran's in the last four while Kilkenny CBS and Borris VS advance to the quarter-finals.
