GAA and Local Authorities to partner up for Sustainable Communities Invitation

The GAA and the Local Authority sector, led by the County and City Management Association (CCMA) will announce a new initiative to work together to lead communities in promoting sustainability and climate action on Friday, January 24th in Croke Park.

The partnership builds on the appointment of the GAA as a Sustainable Development Goal Champion on behalf of the Dept of Communications, Climate Action and the Environment.

Representatives from the GAA and Local Authority sector will be joined by former Wexford Hurler, Diarmuid Lyng to launch the initiative.
