Doireann O'Sullivan has been appointed Cork ladies football captain for the coming season.
The talented forward, who starred for Mourneabbey in their All-Ireland club success before Christmas, will skipper the Rebels for their first time when they open their National League Division 1 campaign against Galway on Saturday, February 2.
It was announced earlier this week that Ephie Fitzgerald’s charges will host Tipperary and Donegal at Pairc Ui Chaoimh on Satruday, February 23 and Saturday, March 16 as part as a double-header with the men's team's games against the same two counties.
