Kennedy would like to see camogie and ladies football played in new Páirc

Tracey Kennedy is hopeful that ladies football and camogie will be played at Páirc Uí Chaoimh during her term as Cork county board chairperson.
The Killeagh club member made history yesterday when she was elected as the first female chair of Cork GAA in succession to Ger Lane. And one of her hopes for the next three years is to improve relations between Cork GAA and camogie and ladies football. Earlier this year, Cork ladies football legend Valerie Mulcahy spoke of her regret at having never had the opportunity to play at Páirc Uí Chaoimh during her senior career.
"It is my hope that both of those codes will be played in the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh and I certainly want that to happen," Kennedy said in her address yesterday's county convention.
"I will make no promises apart from one, I'll work to the best of my ability for the good of the GAA in Cork and I hope that you will support me on that journey.''
