On Saturday, 13th September eight seeded venues in Wicklow will be hosting an U-13 Mini Hurling Feile. Following on from the success the inaugural Mini Feile in 2007 Leinster Council have now included this event in their Games Programme for 2008. This year it is hoped that around 60 teams from all the Leinster counties will participate. A limited number of teams will also be attending from outside the province. The Feile is targeted at U13s in preparation for the National Feile 2009. Games will commence at 11am and each team is guaranteed four games of 30 mins. duration. Lunch/refreshments will be provided at each venue for all participants and each club will be given a presentation at the end of the event. This Feile is primarily about enjoyment and participation for all clubs regardless of their standard of hurling.
