Club action resumes
August 15, 2008
Following the high of last Sunday's win in Croke Park, Brian Cody's players return to their clubs this week for the final round of senior hurling league matches.
The action got underway on Wednesday evening when double champions Shamrocks squared up to Carrickshock in Hugginstown in their delayed fourth round clash. The winners are odds-on to clinch top spot in Group B and a place in the league final.
The six fifth round matches in Group A and B will all take place on Saturday. In Group A, James Stephens take on Fenians, St. Martin's face O'Loughlin Gaels and Graigue-Ballycallan meet Clara.
In Group B, Carrickshock face Dunnamaggin, Shamrocks meet Tullaroan and Dicksboro square up to Young Irelands.
