Bumper weekend ahead

Following three of the senior hurling championship quarterfinals ending in draws last weekend, there is a massive weekend of GAA action ahead.

Ballyhale and Clara go head to head in Thomastown on Saturday (12.30pm), while Callan hosts an attractive double header as Dicksboro face Mullinavat (2.30pm) and James Stephens take on Carrickshock (4.15pm).

Also on Saturday, the relegation final sees St Martin's and Bennettsbridge battle it out to retain their senior status in Castlecomer (2pm).

The intermediate relegation final sees St Lactain's come up against Dunnamaggin and Danesfort (2pm) is the venue for this clash.

Sunday is set to be a busy day also with the IHC semi-finals taking place at Nowlan Park as Glenmore face Graigue-Ballycallan (2pm) and Tullaroan meet St Patrick's (3.45pm).
