Richie Power will assist the WIT Freshers hurling team again in 2018.

The eight-time All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny will once again link up with manager Patrick 'Pado' Flynn and fellow selectors Aidan Fogarty, Alan Roche and Gavin O'Brien. Fogarty led O'Loughlin Gaels to a Kilkenny SHC title last year and won All-Ireland SHC medals as a player with Offaly in 1981 and '85.

"I'm really looking forward to getting back involved with the Freshers. The college has such a strong tradition of success in Fitzgibbon Cup, so hopefully we can help the new crop of players in making the step-up to that level," Power told the WIT Facebook page.
