Dicksboro will be without their manager for Sunday's Kilkenny U21 HC final replay at Nowlan Park.

Ger Henderson had to fly out to California for business on the Monday morning following last Sunday's thrilling 1-16 to 3-10 draw with Thomastown.

'Boro seemed to have one hand on the silverware in the drawn match as they led by six points with time almost up, but Thomastown supersub Danny Monks crashed home a brace of goals in the 59th and 61st minutes to force a replay.

The replay this weekend promises to be another closely-contested affair and Dicksboro would appear to be at a distinct disadvantage as their manager will not be on hand.

It's one of the drawbacks of a 2014 competition running over into mid-January, 2015...
