Kerry footballer James O'Donoghue and Kilkenny hurling star Richie Hogan are among the nominees for the RTÉ Sport Sports Person of the Year award.
Cork camogie and ladies football dual star Briege Corkery has also made the shortlist.
Meanwhile, Kilkenny hurling boss Brian Cody, Kerry football manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice and Cork ladies football supremo Eamonn Ryan are in the running to succeed Davy Fitzgerald as Manager of the Year.
The Kerry footballers, the Kilkenny hurlers and the Cork ladies football and camogie sides are up the RTÉ Sport Team of the Year award.
The winners will be revealed at the RTÉ Sport Awards in association with The Irish Sports Council, which will be broadcast live on RTÉ One, on Sunday, 21 December at 9.30pm.
