Joe Brolly won't be getting any Christmas cards from the Thomastown footballers after his jibe about Kilkenny football on twitter.

Kieran Donaghy's post All-Ireland final line "what do you think of that Joe Brolly?" has become a catchphrase for many victorious GAA teams in recent weeks and when a Thomastown club member decided to use it after their IFC success, Joe replied - tongue firmly in cheek - with the words "I didn't know they still played football in Kilkenny".

Ouch!
