Sisters Leann and Mags Fennelly are hoping to bag two more All-Ireland medals for one of the GAA's most decorated families this afternoon.
The pair, who are sisters of Michael and Colin who played in last Sunday's drawn All-Ireland final and daughters of two-time All-Ireland winning captain Liam, will skipper Kilkenny in the All-Ireland camogie senior and intermediate finals against Cork and Limerick respectively at Croke Park.
"Between all the uncles and everything, I wouldn't be able to tell you an exact figure now," Leann said of the Fennelly family's All-Ireland medal collection.
"I've three minor and U16. Since we were young, we always had a hurl in our hand. I suppose we'd all meet up on occasions and stuff. Because it's such a big family, there would have been communions, confirmations and birthdays…"
