A female spectator at yesterday's Leinster SHC final in Croke Park is recovering after she was hit by a sliotar.

The fan was treated by paramedics in the Davin Stand after a shot from a Dublin forward at the start of the second half cleared the ball-stopping net and struck her. She appeared to be conscious afterwards, having suffered no serious effects from the freak incident. Tweet
