Brian Cody insisted that Kilkenny's Leinster SHC final victory over Dublin wasn't as easy as it looked.

Speaking after delivering a 13th Bob O'Keeffe Cup as manager, Cody said: "We're obviously very happy to have won the game. It was a convincing margin in the end, but we were tested several times during the game.

"Dublin rocked us with a goal, I suppose, but we responded well. We were put under pressure for periods in the second half and we were finding it difficult to make progress.

"But I felt we defended very strongly and right through midfield we were very, very good and we finished strongly." Tweet
