Aidan Fogarty says the Leinster SHC final "is a big deal" to Kilkenny.

The Cats will lock horns with holders Dublin at Croke Park on Sunday, attempting to annex the Bob O'Keeffe Cup for the first time since 2011. Fogarty insists they will be up for it:

"It's a Leinster final. We haven't won it in a few years. That is what we want to do now, win the Leinster final," the Emeralds clubman confirms in The Kilkenny People.

"The direct route is the best way to go if you are going to be going to the All-Ireland final. The Leinster final is a big deal to us. We are in it. We want to win it.

"Dublin won't be easily beaten. They have a very experienced squad and they have picked up the odd title in recent years, like the league and Leinster championship. They could easily have reached the All-Ireland final last year.

"Dublin are one of the top teams now. We got two chances to try and beat them in the championship last season and we didn't do it. We are under no illusions about the huge task that faces us in Croke Park."
