Today's action centred on the penultimate stage of the Allianz National Hurling League Division one campaign and what a double header we had in store.

The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick was the venue for both semi-finals as Kilkenny took on Galway at 2pm and this was followed by the meeting of Clare and Tipperary at 4pm.

The defending champions have looked impressive in this year's league, but that did not stop manager Brian Cody from once again ringing the changes in the side as Michael Fennelly made his first start of the year, while John Power, Brian Hogan and Cillian Buckley all returned to the starting line up.

Galway have opted to start captain Joe Canning, but Fergal Moore, Iarla Tannion and Niall Healy all missed out through injury.

Meanwhile, Podge Collins came into the Clare team following his football commitments, although Davy Fitzgerald had to plan without Shane O'Donnell who was ruled out through injury.

Tipperary made five changes from their quarterfinal win over Cork as Darren Gleeson, Cathal Barrett, Padraic Maher, Michael Cahill and Patrick 'Bonner' Maher returned to the team in place of Darragh Egan, Paddy Stapleton, Conor O'Brien, Thomas Stapleton and Shane Bourke.

So we were set for two very exciting matches indeed and we'll brought you all the action live from our match tracker.
