Shamrocks will be focused

November 14, 2008
Despite the generosity being afforded them this weekend by Westmeath club Raharney, Shamrocks manager Maurice Aylward says there's a job to be done. The midlanders are laying on the red-carpet treatment for the star-studded Kilkenny champions and view the visit of men like Henry Shefflin, Cha Fitzpatrick and Michael Fennelly as an opportunity to promote the small-ball game on their own patch. But Aylward won't let his players lose their focus for a game they should win comfortably: "The main business is the game. When we win that, we can look to other things, but this is a great opportunity for us to qualify for another Leinster final. "We won't be taking any chances on Saturday."
