Hurler of the Year eyes county prize
October 24, 2008
2008 Hurler of the Year Eoin Larkin aims to finish his dream season with a Kilkenny SHC medal in his back pocket.
Larkin's James Stephens face Shamrocks in Sunday's showdown and the man deemed best in the land this year hopes the prize goes back to the Village:
"All I need now to cap the year would be for James Stephens to win the senior final against Shamrocks on Sunday.
"That will probably be the hardest one to try and get. Sure we will give it a go and see how things turn out.
"The year has been so good that you would feel like pinching yourself from time to time to make sure it is all happening."
Larkin this year became the 10th member of the famous Larchfield club to win an All Star. His is the 24th award in total to go to the club - a record haul.
