Hickey talks up the opposition's fire power

September 07, 2008
Kilkenny defender Noel Hickey has praised the collective potency of the Waterford attack ahead of today's (Sunday) All-Ireland SHC final. The recently injured star believes he and his colleagues in the Cats' defence are in for a very tough afternoon. "You try marking Eoin Kelly, John Mullane or Dan Shanahan and tell me how easy it will be," the ace defender declared. "They'll pull their half-forwards out to leave a big gap inside for Kelly, Mullane and Eoin McGrath. That won't be easy; we'll have to work really hard to cut the supply off if we're to hold them. "It's going to be another massive test. Eoin Kelly is in great form and he's very confident, but the rest of them are too."
