Callinan happy to be in a final
August 26, 2008
Tipperary's Seamus Callinan has admitted that he's glad to finally be in an All-Ireland against Kilkenny.
After suffering the disappointment of losing out to Waterford in the All-Ireland SHC semi-final, the attacker was apart of the Tipperary Under 21 side on Sunday which trounced Derry to take their place in the decider alongside the Black Cats.
Now, he admits that the Premier County Under 21's progress to the final helps banish the memories of the last four defeat to Waterford.
"Having this so soon after the senior match was great for me, it meant I had less opportunity to dwell on that result," said Callinan.
