U21 boss used to underdogs tag

August 22, 2008
It's not often the Cats are seen as underdogs but - with an All-Ireland final looming - Kilkenny U21 boss Michael Walsh is used to it. The Black & Amber lock horns with defending champions Galway in Saturday's All-Ireland U21 decider at Thurles and Walsh admits they will start as outsiders once more: "This is our third game in a row where we'll be looked at as underdogs. It's unusual. "It certainly wouldn't be the way at senior level, but we've responded well to that challenge in our last two games. "This will be a big step up in class for us but I have strong faith in the squad of players we have. They have been tremendous in their strength and ability so far." The Cats are boosted by the return from injury of TJ Reid.
