Joey Holden isn't ruling out the prospect of Henry Shefflin managing Kilkenny at some point in the future.

The 10-time All-Ireland winner has done it all as a player and is now just 60 minutes from guiding his beloved Ballyhale Shamrocks to a seventh All-Ireland club SHC title.

“You don’t know,” Ballyhale and Kilkenny defender Holden said in the Irish Examiner.

“You don’t know how long (Brian Cody will stay on) or what way it’s going to happen. Potentially, yeah. There’s no point hiding away from that. I see a lot of skills and qualities in Henry’s management style that could do well in inter-county. If that opportunity arises, maybe, but at the moment he’s not thinking about that.”
