Limerick duo Cian Lynch and Kyle Hayes.

Limerick manager John Kiely has made five changes to his side for Sunday’s Division 1A showdown with Kilkenny at Nowlan Park.

Both Hurler of the Year Cian Lynch and Young Hurler of the Year Kyle Hayes come in for the All-Ireland champions at midfield and right half-forward respectively.

The other three changes see Kiely bring in Paddy O’Loughlin, Shane Dowling and Barry Murphy.

Dowling’s inclusion sees him make his first league start for the Shannonsiders since 2017 at centre-forward, while Declan Hannon, Tom Morrissey, Gearoid Hegarty and Kevin Downes all drop to the bench from the seven-point win over Tipperary in Round 2.

Throw-in at Nowlan Park is at 2pm.
