Erin’s Own are through to the last four of the Kilkenny SHC courtesy of a 1-15 to 1-13 quarter-final replay victory over James Stephens in Ballyragget today.
The winners led by 1-8 to 0-9 and despite a personal return of 1-7 from the Village’s David Walton, they progress to semi-final showdown with Ballyhale Shamrocks at Nowlan Park next Sunday.
Meanwhile, in the SHC relegation final, Danesfort registered a 0-19 to 2-9 victory over Carrickshock at John Locke Park.
