The eight remaining teams in the Kildare SFC will be bidding to prolong their interest in this year's championship as we reach the quarterfinal stage.

Saturday will see a feast of action in the SFC as all four quarterfinals will be down for decision throughout the course of the day.

Johnstownbridge and Clane get proceedings underway at St Conleth's Park at 2pm with the former tipped to go through here.

Following this is the meeting of three-in-a-row chasing Sarsfields and neighbours Moorefield in what on paper is the tie of the round. The Sash are slight favourites to advance. Throw in at 3.30pm.

The action then swings over to Hawkfield where at 5.30pm Athy are highly fancied to see off the challenge of Round Towers in their last eight clash.

And this will be followed at 7pm by the meeting of Naas and Celbridge who are many people's dark favourites for the title.
