Armagh's Aidan Forker is gearing up for their "biggest obstacle to date".

The Orchard County will take on Kildare at Croke Park later today with a place in the last eight of the All-Ireland SFC up for grabs.

"I just want more progress," the Maghery clubman told The Belfast Telegraph.

"If you keep doing the right things our time will come - Kieran McGeeney maintains that this will be the case whether he is at the helm or someone else is.

"Obviously we would like to have avoided the qualifiers if this had been possible but we have just taken what has been placed before us and now Kildare will form our biggest obstacle to date."

He concluded: "We want to leave everything out on the pitch. If we do that we won't be far away."
