Kildare forward Daniel Flynn feels the Lilywhites are still in good form heading into this Saturday's clash with Armagh despite losing the Leinster final to Dublin by nine points.
Cian O'Neill's side are favourites to overcome the Orchard County for a place in the All-Ireland quarter-finals this weekend and the Dubs defeat is firmly behind them, according to Flynn, who still feels Jim Gavin's men can be caught out this summer.
"I think any team is beatable on the day, but just that experience really helps them, and maybe we shut off after the two goals," he stated at Croke Park after receiving GAA/GPA Footballer of the Month award for June.
"It's just about being tuned in for the full 70 minutes, so that's a big learning curve, even my goal chance.
"I suppose personally I feel we're in a good place, but we were still beaten by nine points. I was encouraged that we were nine points down after 20 minutes, and we were beaten by nine points.
"We were there for the rest of the game, and that third quarter was huge for us."
