Patrons at Sunday's Leinster SFC semi-final double-header in Croke Park will be able to watch the second half of the Republic of Ireland v France on the big screen.

The gates in Croke Park will open at 2.45pm on Sunday, 45 minutes after the soccer game kicks off, and the big screens in the stadium will show the Euro 2016 game live.

To accomodate fans of soccer and gaelic football, Leinster Council had already agreed to switch the throw-in times for Westmeath v Kildare and Dublin v Meath from 2pm and 4pm respectively to 4:15 and 6:35.

With the Euro 2016 last-sixteen clash in Lyon scheduled to commence at 2pm, there were still concerns that fans attending the Westmeath-Kildare match might face a dilemma.

The allay those worries, the GAA have decided to broadcast the second half of the international match on the big screen on Jones Road.
