Kildare are sweating over the fitness of midfielder Kevin Feely who injured his shoulder during the Leinster SFC win over Wexford last weekend.

With just ten minutes to go in the game, Feely shipped a heavy tackle, which left the Athy man in agony.

He was forced to go off and now must await the results of a scan to see what the time frame is for his recovery.

Kildare will play the winners of the Westmeath/Offaly clash on Sunday, June 26th and manager Cian O'Neill will be hoping to have the talented player back for that game.

Feely joins a long list of absentees on the sidelines as their injury crisis shows no signs of abating.
