Lotto: There was no winner of the lotto jackpot of €6,500. Numbers drawn were 5. 6. 7, & 14. Ten lucky draw winners won €20 each. Next week's jackpot will be €6,600. Don't forget you can also play on-line (www.leixlipgaa.ie). Thank you for your support.

Membership: Membership for 2016 is now overdue. All players (adults and children), mentors and officials MUST be a member of the club - otherwise they are not covered under the GAA insurance scheme. NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME. Payment can be made on the website (www.leixlipgaa.ie).

Golf Classic: The Leixlip GAA Annual Golf Classic takes place on Friday 1st July in Knockanally Golf Club, Donadea. This is always a very enjoyable and well supported event. Teams of 4: €240 (including meal). Sponsored Tee Boxes: €100. Contact Denis: 087 2373690 for further details.

Senior Football: The Senior Football team got back to winning ways with a 0.14 to 1.07 victory over Clane last Saturday. They face Raheens in Radley Park this Sunday 22nd May in the league at 6.00pm. They play Eadestown in the first round of the Championship on Saturday 28th May in Clane. After a disappointing result against Naas, the Reserve team will be hoping to bounce back on Monday 23rd at home to Clane (throw-in 7.30pm).

Senior Hurling: The Senior Hurling team had a fantastic victory (0.14 to 0.11) over local rivals Confey on Tuesday evening. They travel to Celbridge in the next round of the League on 7th June. The Junior team play Maynooth on Radley Park next Thursday 26th May at 7.30pm.

Senior Camogie: The Senior team qualified for the League final against Athy on Sunday 29th May. We are still waiting for confirmation of the venue.

Handball: Leixlip were represented by Leah Doyle and Mollie Dagg in the prestigious Paddy Grogan Memorial Tournament in Carrickmore, County Tyrone. Full details can be found at www.gaahandball.ie . The Handball Club will hold a Table Quiz to raise funds for the Ball Wall on Wednesday 25th May at 8.30pm in the Club. Team of 4 - €40. All welcome.

Juvenile Football: The Under 14 team return to action in the League on Sunday 22nd May away to Naas.

Juvenile Ladies Football: The Under 16 Ladies Football team play their final match of the season is on Sunday 22nd May against Skerries Harps, and a win or draw will clinch the League title. Leixlip Under 14s play Kilcullen in the final of the Kildare Community Games this evening at 7.00pm in Glen Easton. In the Under 14 League, both Leixlip teams play Naas in the Division 1 & 3 Finals on Saturday 21st May on Radley Park, starting at 6.00pm.

Juvenile Camogie: The Under 14 Leixlip/Cappagh team play the League final in Eire Óg on Sunday 22nd May. We are awaiting confirmation of the time and opposition. Good luck girls.

Academy: The Cúl Cubs Academy continues on Saturday mornings from 10.00 - 11.30am. New girls and boys aged 4 - 8 always welcome. Tomorrow, we will have a visit from the Cúl Heroes (www.culheroes.com), with plenty of fun, games & give-aways.

Club Shop: The Shop is open on Saturday mornings from 10.00 to 11.30. Orders taken for all kit.

County Players: Good luck to Tommy Moolick & the Kildare Senior Football Team against Wexford on Saturday evening in Croke Park and John Doran & the Kildare Senior Hurling Team in the Christy Ring Semi-Final against Meath on Sunday 22st May in St Conleth's, Newbridge.
