Kildangan GAA Race Night
We are holding a race night on Saturday, 5th March in the Cross Keys at 8.30pm. There will be a tote in operation on the night with bets €2 each. The owner of the winning horse in each race stands to win €40. The first race is at 8.30pm with a full race card. You can buy a horse for €20 from any senior player or committee member, or sponsor a race. A great night is promised!
Senior Training
Training for our senior team is already beginning to step up in order to prepare for Division 3 and Junior football. The team are putting in the hard work under the management of John Scanlon and Davy Anderson to make sure they are ready. Training currently takes place on Thursdays at 7.30pm and will be taking place on Tuesday as well from February, so if you would be interested in playing Gaelic football for Kildangan in 2016, feel free to come to a training session.
Statistics
As Gaelic football is a game where numbers are key to winning or losing, we are looking for someone to take statistics for our senior team; a vital role in the progress of any team. Please contact John Scanlon on 087-2625246 for more information.
Abbey Rangers
Grading has taken place for the Bord na nÓg under 14 championship and under 16 league has taken place, with the Rangers in Division 4 of both competitions, which begin in late February. See our website for more details.
