== Results ==

Not a good weekend to report on the results front.  You just need to
pick up a copy of the Liffey Champion, Leinster Leader, or the Kildare
Post to read the match reports.  A selection of pictures from the
matches can be found on the club web site.

We arguably had our fittest and best prepared Senior football team in
years for the championship semi-final against "The Sash" on Saturday,
but alas we came away second best. The players & management team were
gutted afterwards and rightly so. Senior Football at the highest level
in Kildare is next door to inter county in terms of commitment; when
it comes to time and dedication to the cause for an amateur sport.

Hard Luck lads - the club do appreciate the effort you put in over the
year.

On Sunday, despite a late fight back and a "Penalty" call going
against us, our Minors Hurlers bowed out at the Final stage of the
Kildare Minor Hurling Championship. Most of the team are minor again
next year so the future is bright.

Many thanks to all our supporters !!

Congratulations to Coill Dubh and Naas on winning the hurling Senior
and minor titles  respectively

Congratulations to our Under 13 footballers on making the finals of
their respective "Kildare All County U13 Leagues"

The U13 finals take place this Thursday under lights in Hawkfield.
First up at 18:15 is the U13 Celbridge 2 side of Chris Treacy and
Maurice Cuffe, they play Nas na Riogh in what will be a tough
encounter.

At 20:15 Colin O'Sullivan and Joe Mayne's charges take on Naas 1
looking for Payback on the recent league defeat. The very best of Luck
to all involved
