WALK THE LINE 24: We are holding a 'Walk The Line #24' Fund-raising event. The event involves a 24 hour walk starting Friday 9th October at 7pm. The walk has been divided into 20 teams, 24 members/families per team. Each of the 24 members/families of a team would be allocated a 1 hour time slot to walk the pitch in the 24 hour period. We hope to have each of the 20 teams represented for each of the time slots. The aim is to raise €50 sponsorship from each of the 24 team members/families. All sponsorship goes towards the planned developments and the day to day running of our club. The club costs a lot (approx €120k) to run per year and has to be self funding which unfortunately puts us in a position were we need to fund-raise. We'll be holding a meeting in the coming weeks to go through more details. On a positive this will be a fun event to get out and walk with others from the club and community. Sponsorship cards are available from the club or contact Dave on 086054090. More details are also available on our website and Facebook pages.Moorefield GAA and Friends of Paddy Butler Charity Relay Walk: On Saturday 26th September, Moorefield GAA will walk from Croke Park to Moorefield GAA Club in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Association. iMNDA has been, and continues to be a massive support to a great Moorefield clubman Paddy Butler and his family and we are now looking for you to support this fantastic organisation by joining us for this challenge.
