== The Masters Hurling Match ==

The annual 'eve' of the All-Ireland Hurling final "Masters Hurling Match" is on at 8:00pm next Saturday night (September 5th) under lights on the main pitch. Every one is invited to come along and take
part or enjoy the banter on the sideline, especially those from Galway, Kilkenny and Tipp that might be "Up for the Match" ). Just wear your county colours wherever you're from. We'll have a limited number of hurls and helmets but soft caps are also welcome
***(Celbridge GAA accepts no responsibility for loss of limbs incurred)

By the way, 'Masters' does not imply one having any competence in the
game of hurling at all; it only means that you have lived long enough
of make it at least to the age of 35 and are able to stand up straight
and hold a hurley !!

Any one of you that have participated in the past know how much fun it
is. For any first-timers - all you need to do if present yourself with
boots and togs; a hurley and helmet would be useful as well I suppose
but if you don't have one we have spares.

You can be guaranteed a least a few pulled muscles, late tackles,
sparkling skills (not) and a great time.

If you are togging out in the Masters game  should be there from
7.30pm

Click here are some pictures supplied by Naill of last year's brave
contenders...
