Kildare will enter the All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Cork in a confident frame of mind according to full-back Mick O'Grady.
Back-door wins over Offaly and Longford have seen the Lilywhites restore some pride to the jersey following the 19-point drubbing they suffered at the hands of Dublin in the Leinster SFC semi-final.
O'Grady and his team-mates are aiming to compound the Rebel County's woes when the two counties meet in Semple Stadium on Saturday.
"It is a massive boost," O'Grady said to The Irish Independent.
"Losing to Dublin like that, we knew we let ourselves down on the day. Obviously they were the better team but we knew ourselves.
"Everyone in this group here knows that we had a lot more to offer we just didn't do it on the day.
"It was important to get the win against Offaly, that was a tough game and again we knew that Longford were going to be good opposition again.
"We are focusing on one game at a time we are not looking past the next game."
