Kildare manager Brian Lawlor believes that his side need to step up a level if they are to retain their Christy Ring Cup title this year.
The Lilywhites were pushed all the way against Mayo last weekend, before a few late scores earned them the victory.
This Saturday, Kildare face Meath at Trim for the third time this year, and even though Lawlor's charges have won both outings so far, they are taking nothing for granted.
"That's definitely going to galvanise the team," Lawlor stated to the Leinster Leader of the win over Mayo last Saturday.
"We made four changes from the last day to freshen things up and some of the guys that came in were outstanding. We've used 22 guys so far in three games, we've really used our panel.
"We need to sit down now and see what the best fit is for the quarterfinal. Obviously Paul Divilly is back available next week who is a huge player for us but we just need to knuckle down in training and get ready for a huge game next Saturday."
