Robert Emmetts travelled to Naas this evening to play their league game .It was a lovely evening for football .This was a fantastic game of football with two very evenly matched teams. Both teams were a credit to their clubs in the effort they put in . It was only 2 well taken goals by Anna Carpenter in last few minutes of the game that separated the teams. Every girl did themselves proud against a very good Naas team . Well done to both teams and mentors .
Final Score Emmetts 3-5 to Naas 2-3
Well done to the Sarsfields U14 girls who overcame Robert Emmetts in an highly entertaining game. Both sides produced great football skills and took their scores under pressure. Even though the half time score was only two points apiece both sides had plenty of chances in a tightly contested game and the scoreline did not reflect this. In the second half both teams stepped up their performance and scores were taken well by both sides. In a closely contested game Sarsfields won by two points. Well done to both teams who entertained the crowds from both sides. Final score Sarsfields 3-7 Robert Emmets 3-5.

Very entertaining game this evening in Confey, this game turned out to be a very tight affair, the first half started with a flurry from Ellistown when our forward line took a goal and 3 points in quick succession, for the next 20 minutes it was all Confey and they clocked up 8 points with no reply from the visitors until the last 5 minutes of the half, the teams went in level at half time 0-8 to 1-5, after the break Ellistown began to dominate play and some well taken scores from the forwards and midfield took control of the game, some good passages of play from both sides led to some great scores from and the game finished with a penalty to Confey to end with a scoreline of Confey 2-10, Ellistown 4-13, many thanks to the girls on both sides for this most entertaining game.
