Saturday was a historic day for the club when the first ever match took place on our new field with the seniors playing Castledermot in The Keogh Cup. Thanks to everyone who has supported us and helped with the new pitch over the last few years. It was great to see all the hard work paying off.
The final score of the match was Castledermot 2-08 Ballymore 0-07. The next senior match is on Monday 9th March at 8pm in Hawkfield against Two Mile House.
On Sunday the minors played Monasterevan in the MFL. The final score was Monasterevan 1-09 Ballymore 0-07. The next match is on Sunday 8th March against Aylmer Gaels in Ballymore at 11.45am.
The U16s also played on the new pitch on Saturday. They were beaten by Eadestown on a scoreline of 4-04 to 2-08. They now play Athy on Saturday in Athy at 4.15pm.
Well done to the U14s who beat Newtown Gaels in the Feile B match on Sunday. The final score was Ballymore 2-10 Newtown Gaels 1-04. They now play Kilcullen on Sunday in Ballymore at 10.30am.
The next lotto draw takes place this Sunday, 8th March, in Paddy Murphys at 9pm. The jackpot is now worth €4,000."
