U17 Match report

This morning saw the first of our U/17's games kick off in Allenwood GAA at 11.00am as Na Fianna faced Eadestown. The game was officiated by John McLoughlin. Captained by Ciara Aungier, Na Fianna started the game by winning the throw in and getting the first point on the score board. Within minutes Eadestown matched our one point advantage and took the lead. Eadestown gained the upper hand right before half time as they slotted two goals into the net. Half time score saw Na Fianna 0:4 to Eadestown's 3:4. Second half saw Na Fianna coming out strong after a brilliant goal from a young Niamh Aungier. Na Fianna closed the gap to within 3 points. Eadestown took advantage of a Na Fianna yellow card incident and increased their lead keeping Na Fianna at bay. Final score saw Eadestown gaining a victory over Na Fianna.
