To whom it may concern,
Kildare LGFA are delighted to announce Stephen Maxwell as their new Senior and Under 21 manager for the coming two years. Stephen was ratified at last night's county board meeting.
Stephen brings with him a distinguished coaching career; he has a BA in Sports Leadership and lectures in Sports Science. For the last 10 years Stephen has coached elite athletes and in the past five years he has worked with Senior County Ladies players as a manager, coach and a diet and nutrition consultant. His previous experience includes working with Dublin Development squads; he was also part of the backroom team to the Longford Ladies and also as manager of the Trinity College Ladies when they captured the Lynch Cup. Stephen's backroom team will include ex Dublin Senior Footballer, Niamh McEvoy, an all Ireland winner in 2010. Niamh is also a qualified coach and brings with her an array of experience at playing for her county at the highest level.
The Executive of Kildare LGFA will be holding a number of meetings with Stephen and Niamh in the coming weeks to prepare for the 2015 season.

We would ask that all members of Kildare LGFA get behind Stephen as we continue our transition at senior and under 21 levels.
