St. Laurences U11 girls played their final league game of the Autumn League in Kilcullen and what a wonderful game both teams provided us with. This local darby between two evenly matched teams was always going to be close and that's the way in turned out to be.The Larries had the wind at their backs for the first half but it was Kilcullen that dominated the opening minutes with some lovely long range points. When the Larries settled with excellent passing movements had scores from Miah Ryan, Dearbhla Slattery and Grace Kearney.
The second half continued where the first left off. Great passing and support play was demonstrated by both sets of girls, again there were marvelous points from the Kilcullen girls and the Larries responded with points from well worked moves. This was indeed the best game of the League and no doubt these local rivals will meet again in the coming years.
