SFC final roundup

St. Brigid's completed an historic five-in-a-row of Roscommon SFC titles with a 3-12 to 0-7 thumping of St. Faithleach's at Hyde Park.

The 2013 All-Ireland club champions, who have now won eight out of the last 10 county championships, never looked back after Frankie Dolan's early goal helped them to a 1-7 to 0-1 interval lead. Benny O'Brien's charges can look forward to a Connacht club semi-final meeting with Mayo champions Ballintubber in a couple of weeks.

St. Gall's won their 13th Antrim SFC title in 14 years when they saw off Cargin on a 1-11 to 0-10 scoreline at Ahoghill. Ciaran McCabe's side will meet Clontibret in the Ulster club quarter-final in a fortnight's time.

Newbridge rivals Moorefield and Sarsfields couldn't be separated in the Kildare SFC final, the game finishing 0-16 to 1-13.

Meanwhile, The Nire defeated Stradbally 0-11 to 0-6 in the Waterford SFC final at Fraher Field and will now face Ballylanders of Limerick in the Munster club championship.
