There is one quarterfinal left to be played in the Kildare senior football championship.

Already through to the semi finals are Sarsfields, Moorefield and Celbridge who all booked their place in the last four last weekend.

Athy and Allenwood do battle this Friday night to see who will join them and it will be Athy that go into the match as strong favourites to advance.

The semi final draw will take place after this match and if, as expected Athy come through then they will be kept apart from Moorefield as they have faced them earlier in the campaign.
