This weekend sees the intermediate football championship semi finals down for decision.

The four teams remaining are Kilcock, Eadestown, Round Towers and Castledermot and on form this group deserves to have reached the penultimate stage.

Kilcock play Eadestown and Round Towers take on Castledermot in this weekend's semi finals in what should be two intriguing matches.

Eadestown will look to Cian Bolton for the majority of their scores and he is in excellent form at the moment, while Kilcock will be without county defender Ciaran Fitzpatrick who was red carded in the quarterfinal.

In the second semi final, Castledermot will be slight favourites to see off the challenge of Round Towers, but it could go right down to the wire.
