u13 Autumn league

September 05, 2014

Carbury u13 girls continued their league campaign in front of a large crowd at home to Moorefield on what was an almost perfect evening for football.
Straight from the first whistle Carbury launched an attack and found themselves a point up after just 30 seconds the girls were to keep the Moorefield defence under a lot of pressure for the first 10 minutes picking off some fine scores. Moorefield for the next 10 minutes enjoyed some good periods of possession but the Carbury defence stood strong forcing the opposition into difficult positions to get scores from and despite some great efforts by the Moorefield girls carbury only conceded 2 points during this period of Moorefield dominance. Carbury were to finish the half much stronger with some fine scores.
HT Carbury 4-5 Moorefield 0-2
The second half began as the first half finished with the first score of the half a fine goal by Carbury's full forward. Moorefield again got into the game but found it very difficult to break through an in-form Carbury half back line and on the few occasions they did break the line in search of a goal they were met by a full back and keeper who were just not going to be beaten. This half again finished with the carbury forward's enjoying a good period of dominance.
FT Carbury 8-8 Moorefield 1-3
