Well done to the Kildare U-21 hurlers who retained their Leinster title last Wednesday defeating Wicklow 2-07 to 0-12. Well done also to the Celbridge contingent who were part of the Kildare senior camogie team who defeated Antrim 1-17 to 2-13 to qualify for the All-Ireland Intermediate semi-final, Susie O'Carroll contributed 14 points of this tally. Best of luck to the Celbridge lads playing for Kildare in the All-Ireland qualifier v Monaghan in Croke Park at 7pm next Saturday. The senior hurlers face Clane on Saturday in the championship in Naas @2pm. The senior B footballers lost 4-09 to 0-10 v Naas last night in their championship. The Intermediate hurlers are away to St. Laurences on this Thursday @7.30pm. The third team footballers are in action this evening @7.30pm in Leixlip where they take on Confey. The senior camogie team suffered their second defeat of the campaign last night when they lost 2-11 to 3-04 to Johnstownbridge. The senior football league final v Athy will not be played this weekend.
