Setback for Kelly

April 23, 2014
Kildare defender Peter Kelly has suffered a setback in his comeback from injury.

The former All-Star missed out on his club Two Mile House's All-Ireland club JFC final win (he did make a last minute cameo) after he suffered a knee injury earlier in the campaign.

That ruled him out of Kildare's entire national football league campaign, but he had resumed playing with his club when he picked up another injury that looks set to keep him out of the intermediate football championship first round.

Another Kildare star in danger of missing the opening round of the county senior football championship is Tommy Moolick who is nursing a hamstring injury sustained in a league match a fortnight ago.
